You can bring a cooler of frozen food with you, like frozen meat, etc. without any trouble. Customs inspectors will inquire as to whether it’s for your own use. When you confirm that, they pass you through without trouble.
The grocery store on Guana is adequate to provide for your needs during your visit. If you are there longer than a week, advise the grocer of any particular items you’d like to purchase. They will then have them ordered and brought over on the ferry on Thursday – the restocking day. If you want to purchase fresh or frozen fish, ask Ruth. Her husband Henry is a fisherman and lobsterman. They are usually willing to sell some of their catch.
