On Guana Cay, you’ll find that golf carts are the primary mode of transportation, and as necessary as automobiles are at home. They’re a great way to tour our scenic island and to truly experience Guana and its many pristine beaches. Although golf carts are not allowed on the beaches themselves, they are certainly the easiest way to explore some of their remote locations. You’ll want a golf cart to go shopping, out to dinner, and to explore the Islands many hideaways. A golf cart rental will add a lot of fun, spontaneity and freedom to your Guana Cay adventure. We now offer “Big Wheelers” with tires that can handle any terrain Guana has to offer!

All carts are Club Car four passenger vehicles with a full-length canopy top. Bahamian law requires golf cart drivers to be at least 17 years of age with a valid driver’s license. There are no stop signs or traffic lights on Guana Cay, so drivers are responsible to carefully check crossroads for oncoming traffic, stop completely before making turns, and to use hand signals while turning. In the Bahamas, we drive on the left side of the road. Renters are responsible for any damage to the cart and to other persons or property.

A Standard Golf Cart is $ 45 for the day or $270 for the week.

Call or email to confirm pricing and availability.

The first ferry was the “Junonia”, a 40 foot Maine built lobster boat. The service was started by Marcell Albury with Ritchie Albury as the first captain. As the service grew additional boats were built of wood at the yards of Edwin Albury on Man-O-War.

The switch from wood construction to fiberglass began 21 years ago. Today the fleet is made up of twelve “Donnies”, wide body fiberglass diesel powered boats built to Albury’s Ferry specifications in Florida. Our latest, Donnie XII joined the fleet in anuary of 2008. All ferries are semi-enclosed, licensed and inspected, and operated by experienced and licensed captains. Equipment includes life jackets, VHF radio, fire extinguishing equipment, and first aid supplies. The boats fall into four size catagories, 34′, 39′, 45′ and 51′. Find out More…
